Uma canção de amor alegre e trágica ao mesmo tempo, no mesmo estilo de Wild-Wood Flower, Bury Me Beneath The Willow e Hard Ain´t it Hard. Vocalmente essa canção está dentro da tradição da Família Carter, mas instrumentalmente segue o moderno estilo Bluegrass. Woody Guthie, que era um admirador entusiasta da Família Carter, pode ter tomado essa melodia como base para This Land is Your Land.

This sound is low quality because it was extracted from the second LongPlay of Joan Baez (Volume 2), originality of 1961. I do my best but I didn't get to remove the noises. Sorry!

The Argentinean version of that LP was release by Del Repertorio Vanguard in 1961 and received the subtitle "Old Blues". Apart from that, it is exactly equal to the American North version.

  • yes it is originally sung by the Carters Family..........it's call "Little darling Pall of mine"

    I like both by the Carter Family and Joan Baez. Exactly the same tune.

  • @badgering123 actually it was the carter family's song that inspired that one.. go check it out it is the exact same. i think it is called the world is on fire.
