Goodbye Vauxhall Cavalier

I was so upset to have to say goodbye to my Vauxhall Cavalier following a rear collision in June 2004. With this clip I captured a few moments of the last memories linked to this faithful travel companion. The 'Cavalier' was written off by the insurance company as it was already over 10 years of age and due to its depreciation on the second hand market. Hence, it was declared to be beyond economical reparability for this category of cars, regardless of their conditions.

This is so sad! This reminds me of my mums Nissan Micra crash, 1.0 Litre. It was an M reg, so 1994. It was on the 30th April 2007 as I was 8 and on the motorway. We were clipped at the front by a van which sped away from the scene. We span round the motorway about 4 or 5 times in a 360 degrees action. It scared the living daylights out of me. We span into the central reservation, smashing the car in all areas. Me, my sister and my mum all survived, but the car was sadly written off!

I have comment on this before my friend and the MK3 cavalier is an amazing car!!! I got a CDX 2L march 95 on an M plate 72,000 genuine miles :D I have just put on a K&N filter and gonna be fitting an irmscher exhaust onto it :-) it should bump it upto 155bhp :D This is probably the best car i have owned and i have lots :-) Once again very sad to see it in this condition as cavs are getting very rare :-) I will post a vid of mine if u wanna see it :-)

my car looked just like this when i bought old betsey 3 years ago :) same wheels and everything :) now she has alloys and new rear black lights and smoke repeaters and is getting black angel eye headlights and a new gsi grill for christmas :) realy good looking cars these babys shame about this cav. alot of people like the cavalier even if they dont admit it

The car we then got was in February 2008. It was a Ford Focus 1.4 CL LX from 1999.
