I love her singing it allways calm me down when im angry and things seems hopeless.
This song makes me feel like i can just fly away from my problems and be free... :)

@thecarlysimonfan I was mesmerized as well when I first heard this song. And to this day, it always make me calm when I'm upset. Well, all of Carly's songs make me calm. She has that special effect on me. L-O-V-E Carly Simon and her music! Her music is the soundtrack to my life!

What a beautiful song and a lovely voice. I love the subtle references to the humid rainy days like "the salt won't shake" or "the cards won't play". Great writing.

Thank you so much for posting this. I've never heard it before, and as usual, I'm enchanted by Carly. Thought I even heard a touch of a contralto Libby mixed in there. Gorgeous song, written by the first woman I ever fell in love with. :)
