Compagnie Philippe Saire

For their Joyce debut, choreographer Philippe Saire and his Swiss-based company Compagnie Phillipe Saire explore the nature of virility in Lonesome Cowboy, a piece with a bite. Performing on a gravel surface that morphs and changes pattern, the dancers create a violent, tender, and sensual work devoted to exploring how individuality, solidarity and confrontation both define and determine masculine identity.
