@Sallyallie89 your not changing for your self, u basicaly changing to get him back, with that said, nothing is changed, if u feel the need to tell him how you are , how hes doing. the purpose of no contact is about letting go. where you work on your self only for your self.

Your idea makes a lot more sense. No contact raised a lot of questions with me, such as "What if he contacts me first" ... "How will he know I have improved myself if I don't talk to him" ... etc. I realize the break up was partly my fault, but partly his too. I am willing to fix myself. He said I was far too clingy to him and never went out with any friends, which is true honestly. So I plan to hang with people more often and maybe tell him how good my day was and ask about his in return
