Face it, Gaddafi was France's and Italy's friend, not Russia's. Russia had no obligation to step in and protect Libya, and considering the weak support Gaddafi got from his population, that was the right thing to do anyway.

Now if NATO tries playing around with Belarus or Syria for example, then they will learn the meaning of Pain. Just like they learnt in Georgia in August 2008.
