@fmckadoo I'm sure an anti-Imperialist America criticizing progressive like Samuel Clemens would have a lot to say about a number of people on tv.
In the end however, the final test of whether someone is a truth giver is are they telling the truth?
What is Maddow saying here that is untrue?

Lies, damn lies and statistics, too bad Twain isn't here to explain cable news coverage. I'm sure he would have a catchy phrase to explain Maddow, Olbermann, Rush, Hannity and the rest of that ilk that claim "we are the truth givers".

It sure is. While I can respect others with different opinions and solutions to problems, I can not respect anyone that refuses to debate on the facts. You may not agree on how to solve the problem, but do not refuse to work together and compromise, or lie about what is in a proposal. The GOP can't win the debate on the issue so they simply lie about the ideas of the other party.

This is why I love Rachel Maddow. I did not even start to watch MSNBC unitl 6 months ago. Like a dumb ass, I wold wathc FOX NEWS. All Fox says are opinions, and when Hannity said Clinton left Bush a deficit. I could not believe my ears. Rachel always says the truth, because I check her facts as well as CNN, and CBS, etc.
