I go through this time to time.....im not sure if it is cataplexy your going through....but i would say that you need to pray about this and when it is happening you need to plea the blood of Jesus....it will stop and go away....also you said you did not want to go to your church ....i would say do but if you feel as if they are being judgemental continue to pray to God and He will send you someone or something to help you with this....

Cataplexy is not sleep it is the loss of all muscle tone. It is also a symptom of narcolepsy is excess daytime sleepiness.

I'm confused. Do you have both cataplexy and sleep paralysis? Anyway, I have SP too and I hate it more than anything. I've found that the attacks typically happen when I'm sleeping on my back. I haven't experienced it in a while because I'm on a good sleep schedule, but I make sure to sleep on my side or on my stomach just in case :/

the nightmare part sounds pretty creppy i would be goin to church 3 days a wk if i were u!!!...and dont trust doctors when it comes to medicine cuz they dont wanna cure u they want ur money

a good honest video-the best thing I ever did was talk to others with N/C it's the BEST therapy :-) - there are some great groups on Facebook- private groups invite only-so no one else can read what you write apart from others with N/C in the groups- some wonderful people to share , learn from and vent to-if you want more info mail me- your not alone Hun XcX
