People that go against amazing technology like this don't know how much of a gift this is for millions of people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Nature itself (or god if you will for other people) gave us human beings with ears and other organs/tissues/etc parts that make us have the ability to hear. It's a wonderful sense.

gwenxion is apparently one of those people who is likely deaf themself, and either can't get the cochlear implant in their situation and is jealous, or is so scared of change, that they just belittle those who do get one. It's about as crazy as a crippled person belittling someone for having an artificial leg or arm. It's just sad.

I think it's excellent that this little girl now has some ability to hear. It will no doubt benefit the quality of her life, unlike some seem to misguidedly believe.

What was that LOUD sound in the background? I have hearing aids on you know I felt so uncomfortable hearing that noise I don't know about the girl!!! And why was there so many people in the room?!!!!
