A real dog can be any dog. Small dogs can have the ability to hunt. And it only matters what the owner thinks of them. If the owner wants to teach them tricks, let them teach them tricks. Don't critisize. I have a tiny dog. He is smart, somewhat. He's one of those sneaky dogs. And my family friend has a dog that can do all sorts of tricks. Catch rabbits(hunting) wrestle, yes wrestle. etc.

I hate people who buy useless tiny dogs to teach them tricks which makes them think they are dogs are actually smart.
greyhounds are a million times more intelligent to jack russels and wayyy cooler. You cant just teach a greyhound how to pop ballons are roll over, you could teach these dogs to rescue people or hunt down a criminal. A real dog.

Yes, greyhound. He's a retired racer. Ramrod lost every race he was in except for his last one. He's a good dog...more cat-like than dog.

I am assuming you own both the Greyhound and the Jack Russell? I was just wondering how they get along since one breed is so laid back and the other so hyper. I have a JR terrier with very similar markings as Simon. Mine just has longer legs. Unfortunatly he just became ill this week and the vet said his prognosis is not good. He has a very large heart (possibly a mass growing) and he is having difficulty breathing. He is nine and has just been a wonderful dog.

Yes, both dogs are mine. They actually get along rather well, even though they are polar opposites. I'm sorry about your dog's failing health. I hope he gets better soon!
