One week after being shutout for the first time this season, Tri-Valley returned the favor against rival New Lexington. The Scotties (4-1) got back on track with a 28-0 win over the defending league champ Panthers (1-4) to remain unbeaten in the MVL.
Senior D.J. Ecelberry stole the show away from his pass oriented team running for 172 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Casey Williams totaled 121 yards and two touchdowns receiving on three catches, while quarterback Clay Cameron went 5-of-8 for 139 yards.
Tri-Valleys defense didnt give up much on the ground either. New Lexington only managed 125 yards on 42 carries.
