Why Tina never drive the car?

i watched all 5 season and i was wondering why tina never drive the car.

Im sure duffyy meant the scenes where Bette and Tina are together.Neither when Tina is alone or with other people nor when Bette is.

Well,maby Tina is a lousy driver and yes, it's Bette's car, but i think that Tina deserve more trust and i hope to see that in season 6 :)

Ahah, this question is so funny. You know the answer : like in MANY couples, gay or straight, there's the driver AND the passenger. Bette must be a very good driver (having road rage symptoms, though !!!), and Tina probably liked to be driven (up to season 6 ?). Plus logically Bette must be AWFUL, as a passenger, she probably controls everything, yells at you if you're too slow, not vicious enough to be the first one to get off the traffic jam etc. Oh man no, let her drive this fucking car !!

We all know Bette, she's a major controlfreak. She will feel out of control in the passengerseat, which is why we will probably never see Tina driving with Bette in the car, unless Bette is drunk or unconscious :P

I think the reason Bette drives is because she is the Alpha in the relationship. Bette is like a husband, Tina is the wife. Bettes driving shows her love for Tina really, not having Tina do the work. You'll notice in a few episodes, Bette will pull a chair up for Tina and will open a door and let her walk in first, driving the car is the same sentiment. I just think it is more a show of love and commitment than anything else.

oh i know.. its what made them stronger togather.. and they needed to go thru all this, to make bette see.. i still love them to this day, hell i hope they make a movie soon

@GabbrilleXena: Tina became more alpha-like, while Bette became less alpha-like......that's part of the reason that they were stronger together as a couple in season 6 as opposed to season 1. Though they loved each other at the beginning, they were practically polar opposites....Tina's submissive nature was evident, as was Bette's drive to be in control of everything. They synced up by the end of the series......seems that all of the drama, heartbreak and pain they went through was for the best!

Why did Tina never drive the car? The same reason Bette would probably wear a black tuxedo at her wedding to Tina while Tina would wear a white wedding dress.
