Chlavis - Requiem for a dream

Edit: 10th place at the Defining Moments Contest. OMG. Thank you. I'm really really speechless. Well nearly ;-)

I chose this video to enter into "The Defining Moment Contest" because this was the first video I'm totally proud of. I chose a pure instrumental for music and did a lot of voiceovers that (for the first time too) really worked. Hardly effects on it, but this vid is defining for my future life as a vidder. Since then I vidded a few instrumentals and try always to put in some voiceovers where it fits best.
It's not the best video of me but it obviously has defined the style I'm now vidding. When I find an instrumental that I think it would fit for my special fandom (another point - this video brought me to staying with this couple and not vidding any other pairing from SV) I take it and try to create a story, an AU or something about it.

If I'm satisfied with a video like that I don't need to have thousands of comments as long as there is someone seeing the story and the love I put into it.

Finally ... It took me one week to edit this proper and another 4 days to get my editing programm to render and save this video. Anyway...
I want to dedicate this video to vagrantdream13, who always is one of the first viewers to comment. Your comments are so encouraging and one of the biggest reasons I keep editing Chlavis-vids, without getting new material. Thank you.

Super Arbeit (und ich hab mitbekommen, was du reingesteckt hast). 5* natürlich.

Und der Song ... Immer wieder gut, und passt wirklich.

Danke :-) Ja der dumme Renderprozess. Weißt du worans lag? Die Version des Lieder hatte dieses "dudelige" Ende nicht sondern endet nach dem Schlag, zu der Szene im Regen wollte ich aber das Gedudel noch haben und hab die Lieder zusammengeschnitten und ineinander übergebledet. Und bei der Blende hab ich gestern in der größten Vergrößerung gesehen, dass sie das erste Lied nicht 100% trifft sondern ein Mü daneben im Nichts anfängt. An dem Punkt hat er den Renderprozess immer abgebrochen.

OMG! This is so amazing! I really love this song and it fits Chlavis so well. You did an amazing job here :D. This is probably my favourite Chlavis vid I've seen so far. The editing you did is perfect and I really loved the voice overs...WOW :D!
