@OfficerD82 damn thanks i downloaded zdoom and that answered a lot of questions. ive wondered why some doom videos have such high resolution and high frame rates with like the modified rocket trails and shit. i didnt know thats all you have to do. lol. having free aim comes way in handy, i just use the keyboard though because thats what im used to from duke 3d. if you keep the default page up page down its ridiculous trying to use but if you switch it to [ and ' its a lot less cumbersome.

@ashlands1423 It's either Skulltag or Doomsday. Can't remember :/
Anyways, I have Risen3D but Risen3D is basically Doomsday with a few changes. I still prefer GZDoom over the 10 different source ports/Emulators I have.

how are you aiming up and down? is that part of the wad?

@alifeofarcticsounds no, it's part of the source port. You can enable mouselook with just about every source port. Skulltag, zdoom, GZdoom, Zdeamon, doomsday, etc...
And turn autoaim off while your at it. that's the modern way of playing doom ;D

@Hanzounet Google Doom Upgraded and download the doom-up.wad. It's for skulltag and is even better then this. You can use it with any wad you like.
