My review of the Q-FX Mixer

I would have to give it a 4/5. It has some very good uses for the mobile user, but would need a couple more changes to be perfect. The sound quality is unchanged when using this mixer, which is one nice thing not mentioned in my video.

Here is the specs right from the American Audio website:
2 Phono, 4 Lines, 4 Aux & 4 Mic Inputs
16-Bit Digital Effects with DSP
Assignable DSP Effects to Any Channel Including Any Mic Channel
X-Y Parameter Adjustments on ALL DSP Effects
FX include: Pitch Shift, Reverb, Flanger, Auto Filter, Manual Filter, Transform, Echo, Auto Pan
Cue Up on Effects
Auto BPM
Q-Start
Zone Output
Master Trim Output Control
Easy access auxiliary input on front of the mixer to plug in MP3 players, or satellite radio receivers
Dimensions (LxWxH): 7"x19"x4.25" (4 rack spaces)
Weight: 9 lbs.

  • Love this mixer! But Q-fx19 owns:]!!

  • @grafxnrg Cortex has a nice little mixer for around a $100 that includes XLR outputs which can be hard to find on mixeres in that price range. It also sounds good. I was lucky that I had purchased one because it came in useful when one of my mixers became unreliable. Always good to have a backup.

  • have you thought of buying any cdj's or turntables??? just curious

i need to start recording my mixing and parties

  • that mixer is sweet

  • the manual says it has CF curve adjustment does it really have it?

  • thanks it woulda been nice if u turned it on

  • sorry where was the "PUN" ?

  • Good video, keep them coming. Obviously, once you get more gigs, more money... THEN you can get that Denon that deejaybrianb is talking about or a Numark mixer. Mixers have come a long way from what they used to be... special effects etc. So even the least expensive mixer can do a great job. My mixer died, so I'm using a backup mixer, it's a Pyle Pro unit and I've been impressed. But I'm still getting a better one and making my Pyle Pro the backup unit again.

  • Do yourself a favor, get a Denon.

  • nice mixer. I have a behringer :] not the greatest though.
