Maybe if Dole put that money they spent into sponsoring the AVP instead of shooting this commercial and paying Misty May, the AVP would still be around. Now the world of US Beach Volleyball is in limbo where only someone like Misty can afford to play in the lucrative overseas circuit and those other girls who played in that commercial as well as everyone else trying to become either the next Misty or Phil Dalhausser can't.
