  • Dr. Walter Martin encourages me to go out there and tell folks the gospel no matter what. I love him,his sermons and his family. I can't wait to meet this great man of God when I get to heaven. I continue to learn from this man.

Thanks for posting this. May the God of Glory continue to bless you and keep you in His care! Keep reaching people for Christ!

  • Brother Martin is speaking plain language, we need to watch and get on our feet for being so asleep. We are not children of the this world. We must expose the lies and out of love speak the TRUTH. We need to go back to the basic of the gospel, the birth, suffering, bodly resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • When i was a new believer Dr. martin helped me immensely in my faith. Having backslid about 10 years ago, he once again is helping me return to the faith. I miss him dearly, but I'm sure as he hangs out there in heaven, he surely doesn't miss this place! =o)

  • We really need more bible-based teaching in this day!

  • @14thetruth "Demand house cleaning"? The Scripture says "every fact is to be established in the mouth of two or three witnesses." Take the easy way. Show us only two Scriptures that advocate a Believer doing such a thing.

My Bible says for us to teach and preach the truth, but I don't see where it advocates what you're saying. Look at what Jesus said to the Jews AND to His disciples in Matt. 23:2-3. This suggests you're getting your ideas from men and not from Scripture.

  • @sungmee45 Looking at those verses, you might also consider that most Christians have no clue what "repentance from DEAD WORKS" even means, being told only about repentance from sins, and they also know nothing of "baptisms" except a very simplistic teaching on water baptism.

Unfortunately, the churches of today, needing to "go on," aren't prepared because their preachers are too busy preaching against those with whom they disagree. How many teach their members that they MUST hear God? Jn 10:27

  • @sungmee45 You're absolutely right about the message to the unbelievers, but the assemblies of God need more than "the basics" to grow and mature.

Heb 6:1-2 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

The 4th isn't even taught in most churches.

  • @metaldario Why since Walter lied throughout his whole life?
