@finalcall07 I am ready to be judged. If it were by my own righteousness, I wouldn't be ready but only by the blood of Jesus and the grace of God. Are you saying that only the "red letters" are the relevant part of the Bible? Should we just throw the rest out? I don't go around throwing out the word heresy easily but THAT, kind sir, is heresy if you don't believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God.

@finalcall07 I hear what you are saying, sir, and I have to disagree with your statement in it's entirety. The letter to the church in Galatia was Apostle Paul's confrontation to Judaizers (people who taught to keep the law as part of their atonement). Please search the Scriptures and find that Jesus is 100% of our atonement. By thinking we have anything to do with our atonement breeds pride and takes away from the wonderful message of the Cross.

Romans 8:1
"There is now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH, BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT."
If we are truly trusting and following Him, then we will not live under condemnation. So if we are under condemnation then we are not in Christ. This verse does not support 'grace without works', it actually upholds that we are to live Holy. We must live a life of repentance. Sin separates us from God - this is absolute... and doesnt change simply bcuz we claim Him.

God doesn't excuse willful sin. If we continue to do our evil we do not know Jesus but are slaves to sin. Let no one deceive you you will reap what you sow. God will look at the intention of your heart. He knows if you want to obey him or not

EXCELLENT TEACHING...THANK YOU...

"There will be no peace on Earth until My Son's Kingdom. I will crush every kingdom now standing and rock the earth off its foundation. I Yahweh will destroy every enemy to My throne, and who can stop Me? Who can turn back My anger? No one." - Yahweh
Matthew 10:34 "Don't assume that I came to bring peace on the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword."
Exodus 15:3 "The LORD is a warrior; Yahweh is His name."

John clearly states that sin is transgression of the law. 1 John 3:4---an action. This was to clear up the Gnostic counter-view of sin being physical matter. So by being consistent, I believe people become sinful(and possibly even it becomes natural to them)--this is where "sinful flesh" comes in... Because if we're just born that way--then to be consistent, Christ was born a sinner--but we know this is not true. This isn't far-fetched either, people become addicted(slaves) to their sins.
Well said! You sound like a Calvinist! We are saved by Grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone according to the Scriptures alone for the Glory of God alone!
Nothing else can be added. NO one has the ability to measure whether we are sinning by what we do, how much or how little we do, nor what we even think about or say with our mouth.God Chastens those whom He loves when we go astray Heb 12:6 because He is working all things in His chosen to will and do of His good pleasure Phil 2:12

@RefutingSkellyism There are aspects of Calvinism I love such as grace alone. I am not Arminian and I am not Calvinist. By the way, thanks for subscribing to my other channel called PREACHtheG0SPEL. AmericanWayne is my main channel but I will put things on that channel soon.

You should read the rest of 1 John.
If one does not have to live holy and live in the light and confess every sin... then please explain why Christ told people to "go and sin no more."
So, if you say it's impossible.. and Christ says it's possible(otherwise you accuse Christ of lying to people, to command things that are impossible, and then punishing them "justly" for it)... then I listen to Him, not you.
the moral law still applies(it's written on everyone's heart), it's not legalism.

@droptozro I've read all of 1 John but before I address anything else you said, let me ask you one question: Do you still sin? Ever?

@AmericanWayne
Not lying. I have. that's not the point though. I'm not judging you nor condemning, but your quotes (or rather misunderstanding of the law the Jews were trying to get the Gentiles under versus the natural Law) do not suffice to answer that Christians are to live holy, to resist temptation. If God gave impossible commandments, then God is to blame for our sin. Simple philosophy with is/ought proves that what God commands--has to be possible to be judged righteously.

@droptozro Romans 7:25 says, "Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin." The law was set up to show us that we are not perfect. It's not God's fault. We are all ruled by our sinful nature until we are born again. God gave us free will. We are to live a holy life but there is nothing we can do to earn God's favor. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus alone.

@AmericanWayne I agree with you. The Gnostics had it wrong. We sin in the flesh and of the soul (mind, will, emotions). Our spirits are perfect when we are born again. Fruits of the spirit are the evidence of salvation. There are lots of people who claim to be born again but their fruits say otherwise.
