After leaving the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation during spring break, we came across an injured red tail hawk. He needed medical attention so I took him to a pet doctor at Chadron, SD. Hopefully they called the wildlife department. It was tempting to keep him and raise him as a pet. Then I would have been a real Indin (Dancing with Hawk). Dusty Nose Productions, 2008.

  • Thank you this made me cry it is very beautiful. Thank you for loving the hawk.

  • Shalom and thank you so very much for this awesome over all message.... when I see Hawks, they are a warning to me, that something is about to happen... If it be in the Ruach/Spiritual. flesh, emotional or mental attacks... the Hawk has always been my Mighty Warrior!!!! Blessings to you for your stand and appreciation for knowing the past of snakes/egos who have came against you and for sharing this.

  • Lila Wopila Tanka, Kola. That's enough to bring tears to the mightiest of warriors.

  • nice song where can i find this song and whats the name of the song?

  • The winged ones need our help from time to time as they have helped us so much. For doing this good deed, it will come back to your ten fold.Placing our winged friend in the blanket as gently as you did, you obviously are kind and empathetic towards all creatures.

May God Bless you now and always.

I pray a blessing to you and yours now and in a time of need.

The Hawks have been my guide so much. ( Cherokee/Lakota/Scottish here)

Thanks--I am very moved by this
