  • @MetaSensuality1983 : Hello based on what i understood. it becomes an idol when a couples are engaging themselves into something like children or sex, etc, and forgetting their focuse in the lord Jesus... the same is true with singles. singles sometimes worship autonomy and indipendence...we cant depend on ourselves but to Christ alone... thank you

  • WHEN YOU BELONG TO JESUS HE IS YOUR ALL- PERIOD.

When my wife and I were dating 40 years ago I made 1 thing

perfectly clear to her. I said:

"I want you to know before we go any further in this relationship

that my life belongs to Jesus. My life will ALWAYS belong to Him

regardless if we end up married or no. You cannot ever expect

to hold 1st place in my life, because JESUS holds that position."

OK how many of you "Christian" girls would STAY with a guy

after you heard him say that?

  • @GooglFascists Actually, that's a prerequisite for my future spouse (if God wills). I won't become engaged to a man who doesn't live for Christ. That's just a given.

  • @GooglFascists where r the christian men like you at?!!

  • @GooglFascists I would be SO grateful to stay with a guy like that! The problem is... not too many guys would say that anymore, and even if they did, it's not a reality in their life. At least that's my perception so far.

  • Unfortunately, the reformed church is using a person's marital and financial status to deny people fellowship.

  • ..and im tryin to avoid all that LOL

  • @MetaSensuality1983

Well, Catholics believe that marriage is a SACREMENT.

  • probably a sex addict here. This guy is preaching, but thats all.

  • I dont understand how marriage/singleness can be idols? I know too many people in American culture worships children beyond their own spouse and it's promoted in American culture.
