HIGH-RISE STRUCTURE FIRE

***PLEASE NOTE***: Much of the wall on the south side of the building is a large "MURAL."

In Grants Pass/Josephine County the 6 story Redwood Tower is our one and only high-rise and it's one of the most historic buildings in all of Southern Oregon.

Right place, right time....AGAIN!! I was walking around just 2 blocks down the road when this call came out. I beat the first-in units by about 30 seconds!

Call came in for a possible structure fire with a smell of smoke in the building. The building was evacuated and fire units did find a small fire on the 4th floor.

This video is nice as it shows the units arriving on-scene and the firefighters going in. No real fire (Thank God!) but it's just a great video showing our tax-dollers at work :~)
