Originally planned to be used for launching wire antennas into trees, the barrel can easily be replaced with one the size of a potato. In this video I'm launching a 3 inch piece of PVC pipe with endcaps on both sides. All the parts were under $40 and could be picked up at a local home depot.

Don't try this at home. If you do try this at home, make sure you know how much the air chamber can handle and don't exceed that pressure. This could probably handle over 100 PSI but I'm staying below 50 just to be safe. Besides, with 40 PSI there's already a piece of PVC pipe mysteriously planted on a neighbors roof somewhere within 1/4 mile from here...

  • @Airsoftdevil666 two inch aluminum slugs.. work well

  • @redrockland78 no you cant because then there would be no compression chamber it would be straight air from the compressor... The chamber allows you to move it... Try a scuba tank.. I charge mine to about 110 psi.. that sucker can fly...

  • @oscargomez1991 mine has a sprinkler valve modified with a pneumatic air gun. I drilled and tapped the plastic on top of the diaphram and screwed in the modified pneumatic air gun attachment so that it does not touch the diaphram. I use a scuba tank to charge the charging tank to anywhere from 90 to 120 psi at which time a disconnect the scuba tank and push the button on the air gun.. Any 2 inch projectile flies probably better than a 1/3 of a mile... check out my vid on my channel its in there

He just used a sprinkler valve. They go for about $15 at home depot. all he did was unscrew the solenoid. but a better way to make the trigger is by attaching a momentary switch and and 3X9 volt batteries.

email me if you need more help

  • @PherricOxide Hi!! Hey im working on a project similar to this one. Could you tell me please what type of trigger did you use for this cannon? The info would be really helpful! :) Thks.

  • sow how to make one

  • dude u can use an end of a compressor/ car tire punp for the trigger and u can also put the valve in the back of the compression chamber

  • awwww come on.... launch a d cell batarey ... i shot one at 120 psi and it wen 165 yards : )

  • oh is that thing a valve that opens the chamber?.... well i found one in the woods so i guess that could be useful!

  • I love the fact that the barrels are interchangeable and also that you can use a foot pump to get pressure.

do you have a set of DIY instructions on how to make this cannon? I really wanna hit my local home depot to make this cannon.
