How To Avoid Pimples
In this article I am going to explain how to avoid pimples the natural way! Okay, so there are loads of pimple treatments out there, and many different pills that are supposed to be able to reduce pimples. But why not start with the basics? Give your lifestyle a check over to make sure you are following the natural 'rules' on how to avoid pimples.
Here are some tips that could help you avoid pimples naturally:
1) Okay, so this one may be obvious, but make sure you wash your face twice daily. Wash your hands before washing your face so that you do not rub oils from your hands onto your face.
2) Lightly exfoliate your skin twice a week to get rid of dead skin cells. Do not over do it though by rubbing too hard as you may aggravate the skin and make your problem worse.
3) Try not to touch your face. If you really must touch your face (for example, applying makeup) then be sure to wash your hands first.
4) Avoid squeezing your pimples as it could make things worse by leading to blemishes or scarring.
5) You could take some acidophilus to help fight the bacteria.
6) Add zinc supplements into your diet to help reduce pimples.
7) Try your best not to get stressed as hormones can contribute to pimples.
8) To open your pores, steam your face a couple of times per week. To do this simply boil some water, place the bowl or pot on a table, sit at the table with your face over the bowl/pot and place a towel over your head to keep the steam in. Do this for around 10 minutes, then use cold water to rinse your face to help close the pores.
9) Limit your exposure to sunshine, as it seems to contribute to spots.
10) If you wear makeup, make sure you always remove it completely before going to bed.
11) If you have noticed that certain foods aggravate your skin, then simply eliminate them from your diet.
12) Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, and other food high in fibre, to help keep you healthy overall which you may find will help you to avoid pimples. Try not to eat oily food, or junk food in general. Also avoid caffeine.
13) Get enough sleep! Your body heals better if you have lots of sleep, and will heal slower if you don't have enough sleep.
14) Drink 1.5 2L of water each day. This is one of the basics to healthy skin. It also flushes out toxins from the body.
15) Get plenty of exercise. Around 30 minutes to an hour each day is a good amount of exercise. Exercise also helps to reduce stress.
I hope you now have a rough idea on how to avoid pimples the natural way. If you have tried the above basic techniques and you are still wondering how to avoid pimples, then you could try 'Acne No More' which teaches how to get rid of pimples in a more advanced natural way.

Can you use an electric toothbrush as an exfoliater? I never use it LOL
XAshleyMythCallerX 1 year ago
@XAshleyMythCallerX I wouldn't recommend it, it would most likely be too harsh on your skin. You are best to use a gentle exfoliating face scrub, or purchase exfoliating gloves and wash your face gently with these with your everyday face wash.

@mandissingh After washing your face and dabbing your face dry, get a clean cloth and wrap around an ice cube (so only one layer of cloth is covering the ice cube. Then hold to your face using the timing technique mentioned in this video.

can too much sugar cause acne? Specifically white sugar in my coffee? I've been drinking a lot of coffee lately while adding creamer and sugar. I average about 8-10 cups of coffee a day. Some of the pimples are minor but most are deep ones that i cannot pop and they are primarily on my jawline. Could really use some advice if you have any. Thanks!

@SinSityLuv Some people believe that sugar causes acne, but there hasn't really been any scientific evidence of this. Dairy, however, has been proven in some cases to contribute to acne. If you take in alot of dairy, you should maybe try cutting down on that.
