Well what did happen to Lou?
-
Great stuff- Buddy Rogers was indeed the biggest name in Pro Wrestling at one time. He owned a big piece of the action with Capital Wrestling / Vince Sr. in the late 50's early 60's. They left on bad terms, hence Buddy dropping the belt to Bruno, and Buddy retiring soon thereafter. Buddy also had a heart condition, which was surprising for a fine conditioned guy in his young 40's. Vince Sr. tried to lure Buddy back in the 60's for a return series with Bruno, but no dice.

Didn't Rogers and Albano have a match shortly thereafter when Captain Lou turned good???
-
Awesome. Priceless indeed. RIP, Captin Lou.

@beboi69 buddy broke his hip in the locker room legit it didn't happenn in a match, it is rumored he was jumped backstage. rogers wasn't well liked.

Never seen this before at all. Lou looks a totally different in those photos.

Lou was a total nut job. Buddy Rogers was a drunkard.

His family may have been very respectable, but will they get their obituaries in Time Magazine?
The Albano/Rogers feud was well built-up and helped promote the Snuka/Muraco matches even more. I love the way Lou just sat there speechless in the interview. You never saw that with anyone else.

Buddy was class all the way. It's too bad this was the best gig he could hunt up in the early 80s. Getting disrespected to his face weekly

captain lou resting in peace? i find that impossible.
Rest in peace, Lou.
