Mig-25 scale model (basic modeling contest)

This is the 1/48 scale model of the Mig-25 Foxbat by Revell. This was a nice kit with good parts and decals. I hand painted this kit to add a more weathered and abused look of age.
I also use shaved pencil lead and carbon then used a brush to weather and age the kit. This is my first entry into the Basic Modeling contest.

@55oldscool I use model masters Russian interior green for the interior parts then a Euro gray with a few drops of white to tone it down a bit. Then I used powered charcoal and dusted lightly with a brush to help with the weathering.

Thanks for posting the "new" Russian national anthem. I've never heard the lyrics for the new anthem, just the old Soviet anthem. I like the new one better. Less lies. Nice Mig. :) Too bad it had no B-70's to shoot down. The Mig 31 that came later. Now that was a real missile fighter.

im building the exact same one, comeing along greal just aplying 2 layers of grey paint, then for some army greem camo. then ussr decales turned out good exept the back wheels are a little of tilting it a little right but still looks greal.

Can you please tell me what colors you used on this model? It is very well done and I hope to build mine (which is still in box) as one that served in the Gulf War.
