How it was made: In the end I knew I wanted my drawing to be shown at an increased speed. 4x faster than normal time.
The song I used is 2:28 in length. When the song is played at 4x slower than normal it would be 9:52 long. So -- that means I have about 9:52 to do a drawing in real time. Because when that 9:52 real time drawing (give or take a few seconds) is sped up 4x faster the drawing would play in 2:28. Which is the length of the selected song. So in the end when it's edited together, you see a drawing from start to finish at 4x the speed, yet done in the time of the selected song.
I used the free Windows Media Encoder to record the drawing process and used Windows Movie Maker to edit the video to the music.
I used a Wacom Graphire 4x5 drawing tablet in creating the drawing.
The drawing was created in Xara Xtreme.
