  • Excellent point, and I agree... especially had I not fully welded the front brackets prematurely. Cutting them off would have required a lot of clean up, fabrication of new brackets, and potentially weakening the chassis from mutiple heatings. Not to mention that I had already removed and replaced these [bleep] things multiple times already and I was sick of it.

  • this is just one of the many reasons why I love fabrication! there are always problems and puzzles to figure out! I've got to get back out in the garage and work on my frame.... it's 20* out there though!

  • Surely it would be better to just cut of the front brackets and reposition them correctly
