Based on the comments, Dave hope you see this cause aparently, WE ARE GLAD YOU ARE ALIVE BUDDY! like u said, stay megadeth, be yourself, live life how u wanna man, you got fans for that alone, and on top of that u make great music. you aren't only a true heavy metal icon, you are an idol!

Amazing how groups like Odin and London were forgotten by the end of the eighties and early ninties and never did really did get anywhere but bands like Megadeth and Metallica still continued on and are still on top to this day,too much partying led to the hair band eras down fall it ran its course and just fizzled out,but thrash carried on some how.

@TheCorruptionlives It's like asking if you like Ozzy better before or after the drugs. I mean, dressing up like a woman on stage then saying "I can't do this anymore...I'm a monster" is not the way to invision a Metal God. neither is lying in a puddle of your own piss while you're resuscitated from a drug overdose.

When Decline came out the Megadeth segment was like a revelation to me. All of the false pretenses of the previous bands were laid bare, and with just raw honesty and energy alng came Megadeth who just blew them away.

@revolverand If he didnt change he probably wouldnt even be here today, so its a good thing, even though i like old dave more, the drugs would have killed him if he didnt stop. new Dave is better than no dave.
