Pay attention to the use of black and white in the beginning of the ad, with the little girl imagining a yard to play in (with friends, in color) IF they had only been living in a home.... Instead, she runs in to the home and grabs the remote to watch T.V..... A mind is a terrible thing to waste, eh?
This ad targets Hispanic viewers with all the emotional triggers: "they're raising our rent", "we're throwing our money away", etc.
Yeah right. Owning a home is go to solve so many problems.
