Move TO NS? and do what? Knit? You can get a house in Detroit for around 10k and I think its still dropping....oh wait there are no jobs there either.

This is not that appealing. Afterall, why would I spend 80 grand on a fixer-uper, when I could buy, for 200 odd thousand dollars, a house with over 70% drywall and paint paint fresh paint throughout with a spacious 750 sq foot yard for a small table and maybe 2 chairs. Better question WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO MOVE THERE???? Tell you what, get out while you still can and move to Nova Scotia, where you can actually get a family home and land for under 200 grand!
