Man whenever I'm on the expressway people drive the same (over the speed limit which is 70) no matter what the conditions. Whenever there is ice I avoid the expressway because sure enough there is a crash before my exit and traffic is literally halted so it would take at least an hour to get to the nearest exit.

It happens everywhere, people have an accident, get out of the safety of their cars to stand in the middle of a highway when they see other cars are crashing, just like they did. Plain DUMB . Use your head, analyze the situation, drive slower in bad conditions. No wonder hundreds die daily in car accidents.

Speedy thing goes in, speedy thing goes out....

@DrFruikenstein At the other side the weather was dry and as you can see there is a slight turn to the left
BTW @1:00 Good driver! He warns people.

I'm pretty sure I'll agree with most of the comments, once I know the facts, but...
After having seen drastic changes in weather from one side of a tunnel, to the other, I have to ask; was it much nicer on the other side?
Is there anything in the tunnel to warn drivers of conditions at the exit?
Are there any curves near the exit?
Even if the facts imply surprise, I still fail to understand why people aren't slowing down before exiting the tunnel, which is the reason for the last question.

Make sure you don't slow down. Never slow down. And after you crash, make sure you get out of your car and stand in the road.

If there are 20 cars piled up blocking the road you go through with 150 mph. Someone must cut through making a clear path !!

@d00s7w fuck off! this also happen in russia and if it happens in Italy we are idiots? fuck!

What there might have been four or five cars driving an adequate speed for those conditions. They ended up getting tagged by some other moron. Priceless.

Awesome footage!!! The cleanest video I have ever seen... Captures all the action too!!!
Notice how *some* drivers managed to stop? They were driving *to the conditions*. Does it take a rocket scientist to work out that it was snowing when they went into the tunnel, gee maybe it might be snowing and slippery when they came out..
People who blame the conditions should explain how come they didn't realise what the conditions would *be*, and drive appropriately?
"It wasn't my fault, it was the road."
LAME.
