I take offense to the comparison of Obama and Dr. King.
Martin was a GREAT MAN, and put his life on the line, beaten by cops, bottles thrown at him. He did REAL WORK with REAL PEOPLE.
Obama is not keeping a lot of his promises.
If Martin Luther King was alive today, he would have voted for someone like :
RALPH NADER, DENNIS KUCINCH, MIKE GRAVEL...... NOT OBAMA

Secondly, the position is that the law says to be "naturally born american". McCain said it to be born on U.S soil. at the very least it is also to be born from a U.S citizen which Obama's mother is

the thing about democratic presidents is that you have to give them the office in good times to get them to do okay. there was carter, and then clinton got the office at the beginning of the great housing boom which covered all his faults, which he got credit for reforming welfare. obama will get the office possibly at a time when things are tough. for such an inexperienced leader it could certainly be his undoing.
