Hey Myc.
Maybe you want to come learn Maya with us... pretty cool stuff you're doing that i am sure is self-taught

you do know you can make a 3d model in sketch up... import it into after effects... and set the camera angles to rotate along with light sources all in adobe after effects right? This concept would have a way better result... Go to videocopilot(dot)net. Let me know if you get really enlightened

When I get a moment, I'll rerecord the sound. The 3D was very much a low tech solution, but for the amount of time that I had to play with, I was happy enough with it.

Sorry that the sound on this is rubbish.
You can see the final effects in context in the film The New Force

@ampcorp sorry about the sound quality, I'll get it sorted ASAP.

you can export the animation directly from Sketch instead of using a screen capture app... easier, faster, and perfect quality..

@silvianna51, I know what you mean... but for the effect that I wanted, I disagree.
But you know, no big.
