They're a lost, hopeless, and docile minded population that are dictated and instructed what to like by an unprecedented corrupt corporate marketing machine equipped with bought out expert powers of psychological manipulation serving up lowest common denominator junk. Hollywood does produce a quality film every now and then, but the chronic remakes and sequels just get to be an insult to anyone with a brain, uses it, and is not afraid.

@vendurra What "raw intensity"? You don't know what raw intensity is if you think spiderman or transformers has raw intensity. It's getting tired and moldy--quite far from "intense". There's more to existence than just "raw" sensation anyway. I suggest you outta branch out and learn that the world's a tad more sophisticated than that. There's so much going on today that those trite movies just don't cut it. It's limp how you weakos have to run and escape into your irrelevant CG fare.
