this looks pretty cool, still agree with the people saying its a bit unsafe tho, some parts looked like they could use a bit of rope work to avoid a nasty fall, dont think im the kind of person that dont like a risk i've broke many bones skate, mountain biking and all sorts of crazy stunts but i still wouldnt risk my life for the sake of not using a rope.

great vid, well done lads! Ignore the armchair mountaineers...they don't know what it is to be an adrenalin junkie, sometimes you just got to have a fix...

Good for you, ...great scramble!

I did this Crib Goch xxx on you tube - but you guys doing this in the winter - you have my respect

Unbelievable! Some people really don't deserve to be rescued!
From 2:30 I can see very unsafe scrambling, I recommend you use three points technique, you should never climb without rope and take both hands off the rock, this is bad and very dangerous.

@flafik - While I generally agree with you about rope safety, Crib Goch is only a grade 1 scramble. I think it's a question of judging your abilty againts the conditions. Also, if you tried to rope up on Crib Goch, the queue of people behind you would become very impatient!

Great video and well done for coming off in one piece. Having done this ridge twice now - once in sunshine and once last weekend in the rain and clouds, I hope your video serves as a warning to the unprepared who sometimes venture up this challenging ridge, not realising what they have let themselves in for! We met 4 nice lads on the ascent who thought they were climbing Snowdon and we had to work hard to convince them to turn around and go back along the Pyg track.

Someone from the group in front of us slipped off the ridge and narrowly avoided a huge fall. We were then passed by three guys in jeans and trainers. No idea what happened to them. Didn't see anything about it on the Llanberis Mountain Rescue team site, so I assume they made it OK.
