Intro on Klout - JT Web Man #43

Tonight I did a screencast on Klout.com. Klout is a site that gives you a score that is a measurement of your overall online influence. The scores range from 1 to 100 with higher scores meaning you have a wider range of influence.

Nice overview. I think Klout has a little more complicated algo than EAv. Your influence topics also depend on who follows you. If people that are hardcore Silverlight tweeter RT and responds to you, then you have influence on Silverlight peeps.

Great video, until you started talking about Hotels i saw no reason to be Klouted. I will join now and see how it goes.

klout has definitely helped me to use twitter more effectively. It motivates me to network with influencers which helps me get influence. I'm up about 100 followers since monitoring. shaycarl and nalts now both follow me which is a big deal to me.
