  • this really isent funny. Your dog is"reversed sneezing"

You need to calm the dog down instead of laughing at it.

  • Not funny. Dog doesn't look happy. Although reverse sneezing is supposedly not painful for the dog it probably creates some sort of anxiety for the dog. Comforting the dog would be more appropriate than video taping it for a laugh.

  • this isnt funny at all. and chester is not excited dumbass hes probably in some sort of anxiety. ugh poor dog

  • If you cover his nostrils when he does this, it will allow him to breathe through his mouth and he will be able to relax and the reverse sneezing will stop. Reverse sneezing in dogs is similar to asthma in people - it can make them panic, and then it gets worse. If they are able to relax and breathe normally through the mouth, it goes away.

  • My beagle does this too because he gets very excited about things very easily. He calms down though if you cuddle him or just hold him until he can breathe normally again.

  • yea keep laughing dumbass

  • Cover his nostrils, he will stop in about 5-10 seconds

  • this is horrible! it seems to be an asthma attack! Reverse sneezing my foot! Yall are cruel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • This really isnt funny , You shouldnt be laughing. The dog isnt hyperventalting its reverse sneezing which actually is very bad for it.

  • The best thing to do when this happens, rather than run for the camera and laugh at him, is to gently, but firmly grasp his muzzle in your hand, with your thumb and forefinger up. Apply gentle pressure to the flat part of the top of his muzzle just behind his nostrils. This gently restricts air flow in the nose, while allowing him to still breath through his mouth. My beagle and my throwback Pomeranian both do this and its the best method to help them.

  • My beagle does this often . We give her bread and it helps stop the process.
