@The first Busking festival in Nanimo was held in 1994.you did a great job with your festivals, Anthony.Busker James also put on a festival at the direction of Bylaws. Also a very well put together event.
This was the first "annual' festival put on by the BEAT OF THE STREET SOCIETY.Next year will be our third annual festival.

This was never the 1st annual Nanaimo Buskers Festival. The first two were produced by Anthony Alves in July 07,2006 which was dedicated to promoting hunger awareness and local change to feeding programs offered to the homeless and low income people. The funds raised by the concert were donated to the 7-10 club in Nanaimo BC. to help feed the poor.
