1978 Ford Custom 500 Police Car Interceptor Special 460

Summer Morning in Winnipeg... getting ready to cruise to work! TRUE 2-1/2 inch DUAL EXHAUST W H-PIPE, no cats, straight from the factory! Listen to that "Interceptor" cam purrrrrr.
Ford called the exhaust (LOW RESTRICTION).. guess thats their term for NO-Catalytic converters :)

Way back in the early 1980s, I drove a 1978 Ford LTD NYC medallion taxicab with 400CID. Total cruise-mobile with a beautiful interior, nice stereo -- passengers loved her. Ran like a top, reliable and durable, even if heavy -- so what.

Late one night, a Datsun 260Z challenged me returning west on the LIE -- beat the crap out of it.

Later, put a 351W in her -- high speed was easy, got there quick

I have that emblem on my 78 Highway Hot Rod . It is the most under rated coolest car in the world! That's when real men drank Labatt 50 or IPA, used old spice or aqua velva. Real men love real women not young girls and faithfull to their wives. We have pride and integrity! Real men don't take the easy way out, cause real men take care of their family and also take care of business! Real men love God and Jesus and say Merry Christmas. Real men drive old LTD's with high powered Interceptors.
