my friends were both having to go to Bob Jones University which is really strict about dating policies.. so we did an overexaggeration of both sides before we all went our different ways

I remember the lady embarrassing my date and I up in the dating parlor because I without thinking grabbed the couch pillow and used it to rest my arms on. She stood up and yelled right at me to put the pillow cushion back where it belongs. Everyone in this dating parlor (looks like a furniture store) was looking right at us. It dawned on me that some pervs used it to conceal their indecent acts. I always dated staff so that I didn't need a chaperon back then on dates :) I rarely went to the DP

@SSTTEEAALLTTHH Do you have any examples from the Bible that prove that it is incorrect? Really, why do you say it is wrong? The truth is the Bible has survived longer than any other. when men try to prove that it is wrong, they give up because it cannot be disproved. Voltaire predicted that the Bible would be dead and forgotten in a couple years and after he died they were actually printing Bibles in his house. That of course is not proof, just irony.

I would follow Jesus, the only true Jesus.

Because I could prove to you that the Bible is factually incorrect, but you wouldn't listen anyway. So perhaps a philosophical argument can demonstrate my point. You use the Bible as evidence and I have a strong suspicion that you do this because of the fact that your religion is but a conformation of your preimposed values, rather then a search for true spirituality.

So, which of the 2 would you follow? The Jesus that says the Bible is real and all that stuff or the other one?

@SSTTEEAALLTTHH I'm not really understanding how that is relevant to my last comment, but I will follow Jesus and I believe that when He comes for His people in the rapture that I will be taken to Heaven to be with Him for all eternity because that is what His Word says if I trust Him for my salvation and not any good works that I do.

btw, were you referring to the antichrist?

Suppose the sky opened up and 2 men descended from it. Both look alike, like the popular images of Jesus. Both claim to be Jesus and the other one to be the Devil in disguise. One of them says homosexuality is evil, evolution a lie and the Bible the word of God. The other one says there is nothing wrong with homosexuality, the Bible is false, and evolution truly is real.

Which of these men would you follow?

@SSTTEEAALLTTHH God was the one to invent marriage. He made Eve for Adam and only Adam--one man, one woman for life. (Genesis) But don't take it from me--God's word is the only thing that matters. The Bible says in Hebrews 13:4

"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge."

Proverbs 18:22 says

"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the LORD."

this stuff wasn't made up by humans, God said it, that settles it.

If you believe in intelligent design, God designed your gonads and those of women. So he meant for you to have sex. He didn't design marriage. That's something people came up with, that's artificial.

You are pretty presumptuous when it comes to God's will. Who tells you this stuff? I bet it wasn't God.

@SSTTEEAALLTTHH We don't teach that sex is evil, it is a beautiful thing INSIDE marriage because God designed it that way. Outside of marriage, it causes heartache and loneliness. It's not indoctrination, it's what God said.
