The music is epically beautiful.
I like this movie, but I'm more exited about the remake. I like the comedic take this version had,but I'd love to see a seriously scary version of this movie. Hoping the best for the 2013 remake of the film.

the ambiance of the sets, music, costumes, and the effects i love! the storyline is EH and execution in my opinion yuck

I love the opening, the sets, costumes and music. Everything else sucked, the story, Eddie Murphy, Leota, servants, etc

I really like this movie and its soundtrack. I often watch it because it reminds me the ride. Besides in France the Phantom Manor's story is different but I prefer this version.

@73felice yeah! they almost should have made a second movie to based on how they met, their love life, complications they had and her murder obviously, that would have been SO cool

I don't care what everybody else thinks- I really like this movie. Sure they took something creepy and tried to make it a comedy, but you know, I like it better that way. To be honest, I wouldn't have watched it if Eddie Murphy wasn't in it.
Besides, they didn't completely strip it of its creepiness.
That out of the way, the beginning is the best part!
