  • Romney is what passes for a republican in Massachusetts. He's also the most conservative candidate that the liberal media will allow. Having said that, he would be 100x more acceptable than the current disaster and I'd vote for him in a general election.

  • I support Palin, if for no other reason than that she will resist the media, who I presume will once more appoint our nominee! We need to keep as many strong candidates active for as long as possible, even encouraging some of the strong candidates to come back into the fray. Morris points out all 50 states will be part of the selection process, because of the internet. Let's battle it out right to the very end. Almost anyone at all could beat Obama; he's so critically flawed, even you and I!

  • The current set of characters is who we want otherwise we'd have other candidates -if someone thinks they can take on the current let them -no ones does then this who we got. Even President Obama watches the debates -you think? The GOP this term has never better put forth the terms of a Presidential candidate.

  • @mjverona But he has a temper or maybe a mean streak. IQ is there but what about his EQ?

  • @mjverona bravo! many folks feel the same way. however, without the exposure through personalities like dick here, the country's chances of getting a capable president diminish. there needs to be a balance of ability, experience, charisma and honesty. we don't need another gifted loser pushing on the "pull" bar

  • @cloudshe

Ditto! Newt is still the best, most articulate, most informed, most intelligent candidate. The others don't light a candle to this man. Frankly, I'm sick of the campaigns that go for some kind of ersatz celebrity appeal. What's next? Taking pics of candidates in swim suits? This country needs to get serious. The presidency should never be a position for a superficial talking head ala BO.

  • Thanks Dick

  • hey dick! did Newt drop out? too bad "baggage" seems to trump brains, experience, and success on a national scale.

  • Wrong, Wrong, Wrong!!! It's not cable TV, It's here, on the Internet! You know that, or you wouldn't be doing these lunch videos! Bachmann and Cain would have been vapor, by now, if it were up to Cable-land! Its HERE ( & despite the $ cable punditry finds so crucial), that this election will be won or lost! Free You-tube ads that will undercut the value of the "media-buys", will decide the coming Tea Party emergence. It 's not "Money talks, . . ", but "walking the walk you talk", that wins!

  • Sarah Palin has the ability to wake up America, just as Pres. Reagan could and did! She has done more for Alaska by resigning, and she can mobilize all of us. Cain, with his leadership abilities, and Bachmann with her massive talent and experience as VP, would serve us well. But Palin as our heart and model of integrity, and her communication skills, should be very high up in their way of expressing government, and an integral person during the campaign. She's not self-serving; admirable!

  • @dkitzinger1 Well done. You are right!
