hmm id say he is around 6-8 moths old, but depending on tank mates and many other factors they may never "Color up" sinCe only the biggest baddest peacock gets to "flaunt his feathers" there is a subdominant male in the tank from the same brood but doesnt show his colors because this little guys is the BOSS
