I started with 2-strand twists on April 19, 2008.
I maintain by latching with a bobbie pin every 4-6 weeks.

Have you ever experienced being able to take a lock down with a comb because it was taking a long time to lock?

Yes I have done that. It takes a lot of patience and a lot of afro sheen spray! LOL.

They started as twists but I braided them because they kept unraveling.

My twists were always coming loose in the beginning, especially since I didn't like using wax. I eventually braided the ends to keep them together.

i got two strand locs....for about a month now....how often did you retwist yours....and did some come like real loose?
