this is very fine introduction to jason´s new album. i´m happy to see this guy in cologne in a week. his album is absolutley stunning although everything is played low key, without big effects - for me it´s a favourite song album of 2009- it is running on and on , on my cd-player. The secret is in the atmospheres he creates - everything is moving so directly inside...and interesting to hear, one of the songs is inspired by dave eggers´ great novel WHAT IS THE WHAT. .

i completely love jason's voice. his and the voice of 'great lake swimmers' singer. their voices make me cry, in a good way, and i've no idea why. some unconscious connection, i guess.
