If you watched closely, you could see that the reason why he survived was because he used a knee of justice right before the punch, and the epicness of the two moves canceled each other out.

I think what happened is that Falcon landed on the car, then slid off which sent him into normal falling , then he landed on the road, and because the road moves so fast, it effectively counteracted the remaining momentum.

@ShiningDraco1 If that logic was even remotely correct, you'd realize that epicness never cancels out. It only multiplies. Punch + Punch doesn't cancel, it creates a new universe from the equation:

(Number of Explosions x PAUNCHes^2) x Number of Captain Falcons^1337 / Number of Jigglypuffs x Number of times MOVES HAVE BEEN SHOWN^(Number of times YES!) = Number of New Universes.
