Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth - They Reminisce Over You @ The Relentless Garage 09.11.09 London

Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth are one of the best duos in the hip hop history and one of my favourite of all time.In the sense of achivements and contibution to this music,only Gang Starr and Eric B & Rakim as duos can compete with them.Last time they have been in London in 2004 and had a concert in Jazz Cafe.Soon after that their relations got worst and it took them 5 long years to come here again to perform one of the best hip hop shows in London in 2009.Absolutely great,they should record something together again because the magic which is between them still works.The only one problem was a typical problem of the most of hip hop venues : too much bass.The only one club,which can always set up a bass on the proper level is Jazz Cafe.It's looks like the sound boys in the most of clubs think as more bass then better -wrong! Apart of that,it was amazing reunion concert!

I thought about that before I've posted these videos but still I think that better it's something than nothing.Like I said on the most of the hip hop concert the bass level is set up to high (it's not a rock or pop concert !).It's a shame they didn't play in Jazz Cafe - that's probably the only one club in London where the sound is always very good.On top of that this is just a normal camera,for the professional one you need to have a press pass...

I understand it's a historic occasion that Pete Rock & CL were on the same stage together after all these years, but why even bother posting these videos if the sound is all fucked up?
