My cover of Jake Shimabukuro's flagship ukulele piece, "As My Guitar Gently Weeps."

This was played on a cheap Koa wood Mitchell concert Ukulele (hence the tinny sound and tiny hard to play frets). I can't wait till I get my electric/acoustic Tenor like Jake!!!!

This is the third song I've learned on the Ukulele. It took 2 weeks.

  • "Sore wa...ikimashou"

    This is...lets go?

    haha

very good playing though though. Keep it up! =]

  • kore = this is

    sore = that is

sore wa (that is), like in english is a place filler like "well..."

    that is.... er.... well.... etc

  • i really think you become a great ukuleleplayer. what was the price of that uke? im actually trying my first fingersteps with a 24$ uke (no its not from toys r us!!!) :D

  • This one is a $200 or so uke from guitar center, but find one scratch on it and they'll sell it to you for $100 >:Þ

I started playing a $24 uke i found in my baesment that I chewed a string off of when I was about 2. it's not so bad, but impossible to keep in tune.

  • pono makes really nice acoustic/electric ukes

    what is your price range?

  • preferably <1000, but I do want to find both a slotted headstock and half-dedent inlay...

Even my el cheapo martin up there managed to have some color in the inlay... i'm amazed at how many expensive ukes out there are really plain aesthetically.

  • @truegrey42 それは by itself is not a filler, but purely a demonstrative pronoun. では is the proper filler in this instance, and can be contracted to じゃ, but can be used in combination with それ to make それでは or それじゃ

  • at guitar center the same one you have a size 12 is $99.99 and a size 14 is $130.00

  • sloppy and too fast... but good

  • Do you use the classical knot to get those strings on the bridge?

  • that was sick.i have that same uke but where can i find the tab for that

  • try and get new strings on it.

ill buy it off of you if you dont like it man

    lol

  • FISHIES

  • i want my etu back!
