Because its no longer Queen. Its Queen+Paul Rodgers. As in there is now Paul Rodgers to go around as well.

Also maybe if you stopped comparing him to Freddie then you could be more open minded as I've heard before that even Brian said he is not trying to "replace" Freddie. He is just trying to be Paul.

I actually love this new album.

I think if you dismiss this album sheerly because its not Freddy singing you are narrow minded.

Its not Queen in the traditional sense, but it is a really great album in its own right. Don't put the CD in expecting something Night of the Opera-esque and you'll love it as I do.

the music is original, it's just not the style queen used to be.

paul rodgers can sing, and some songs he still manage's to "goosebump" me, but not any of the songs on this album, which is sad. he just isn't on par with freddy.

and queen did have allot of songs like this, they had ALLOT of hits, but they also had ALLOT of these type of songs, now that i think about it, i just don't like most of them, and this album is something i don't like very much either

without Freddie Mercury and John Deacon the music is not the same, is not so original. They should not call themself Queen now.
