I was in Holland to buy these tulips to bring to her grave, and sadly to say, they where not to be found... Any clue as where they might grow? I am deeply sorry. The woman was a saint and deserves better than this...

A true beauty...not the tulip, but Audrey Kathleen.....How could we NOT love her so much? She will always be alike a "big sister" to me, even though I grew up a continent away...She will be with us forever...

@Geschichte2010 Yeah this is where the Kaiser lived. According to different things Ive read, Audrey's grandparents owned this house and sold it to the Kaiser sometime around when Audrey's grandfather became Governor of Suriname. Audrey's mother grew up in this house.
I mean, who took it?

It came from the bonus disc of "Gardens of the World," so I'm assuming the film crew from that show tagged along and filmed this for Audrey. They were in Holland at one point to talk about tulips and other bulb flowers.

Only the subtitles aren't completely right. In the first part, she actually says: "...who never thought of herself and has been a great example for me. If you permit me, I would like to give this tulip to my sweet, sweet aunt Jacqueline, Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau."

Thank you for the more accurate translation!
It always breaks my heart when Jacqueline cries.
